2013 Film Festival
The 14th annual Big Bear Lake International Film Festival is open for film & screenplay competition entries. Next year’s festival will be held the weekend of September 20-22, 2013. The festival showcases a wide range of filmmaking and highlights independent feature-length films, documentaries, student films, High School student films, short films, family films, animation, 3-D Short Films, films made by Big Bear locals, and a screenwriting competition. Juried and audience film awards will be presented. Last year’s festival hosted the first student film camp program for aspiring young high school filmmakers from throughout San Bernardino County to learn about film production and new technology.

2012 Film Festival
Attention all High School filmmakers!
Join us for our September 13th-16th, 2012 as a participant of our first-ever Film Camp for Aspiring Filmmakers. During this four day intensive we will explore the many different roles involved in creating a film, from story development to post-production skills, we are offering a one-of-a-kind experience to 28 high school students who are passionate about filmmaking.

If you have received a letter confirming your film’s acceptance to the 2012 Film Festival, please be sure to send us your film in the requested format(s) before August, 29th 2012.
